David Cesar, a co-inventor of SOAR to Strategic Excellence™ and a Certified SOAR Facilitator, is a Partner/Principal managing director at The Parkland Group. He has nearly two decades experience in the financial and operational sides of various businesses. Since joining The Parkland Group in 2000, David has worked with various manufacturing, distribution and repair firms, helping them improve their operational and financial functions. He was rec ently the acting COO of an electrical machinery manufacturer, successfully stemming heavy losses and increasing customer responsiveness and on-time deliveries to help facilitate their successful sale.

Previous positions include interim CFO/COO of a multi-plant bronze component manufacturer, overseeing all financial, manufacturing and sales functions. He was also general manager of a multi-plant custom injection-molding company serving the consumer market, responsible for production, quality, purchasing, costing and maintenance as well as having customer contact.

Earlier in his career David founded and was majority owner of his own custom injection-molding business. As president, he handled everything from daily operations and strategy development to raising capital. He was also the treasurer and vice president of operations for an original equipment manufacturer of vehicle lighting assemblies, injection-molded components and medical equipment, selling to foreign and domestic markets. As corporate treasurer, he worked with five subsidiary companies as well as one affiliate.

David started his business career as a manager of an accounting firm. He received his bachelor's degree in business administration from Cleveland State University and is a CPA.
